iGuroo, a pioneering education technology company, recognized the need to enhance its data analytics and search capabilities within its mentoring platform. Their senior management and administrators required comprehensive dashboards to monitor crucial metrics such as course completion rates, course progress, and psychometry assessment completion. Simultaneously, users needed robust full-text search functionalities to efficiently navigate through mentors, courses, and course assignments. With these requirements in mind, iGuroo sought a solution that would empower stakeholders with actionable insights and streamline information discovery across the platform. iGuroo implemented OpenSearch as a central component to address both their analytical and full-text search requirements within their Mentoring Platform: Technology Stack Used: AWS API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB and AWS OpenSearch Analytical Requirements:: iGuroo utilized DynamoDB streams to ingest relevant data, including course completion rates, course progress, and psychometric assessment completion, into OpenSearch in real-time. This approach ensured that the latest data was available for analysis and visualization using the powerful analytics capabilities of OpenSearch through OpenSearch Kibana. Full-text Search: Additionally, iGuroo leveraged DynamoDB streams to ingest mentor profiles, course details, and course assignments data into OpenSearch. This integration enabled robust full-text search functionalities within their web application, allowing users to efficiently search for mentors, courses, and assignments using OpenSearch's advanced search features.
