Children’s Pavilion

O n the picturesque small island in the middle of the Great Pond stands the Children’s Pavilion, designed in 1827-1830 by architect Gornostaev.
The central part of the pavilion’s main facade is decorated with a wide semicircular niche. The pavilion contains a spacious dining room and 4 small rooms furnished for children. Wooden partitions between the small rooms could be drawn back with the help of special devices. The ceilings were decorated with ornaments.
