Some organizations, for example the new Bed & Breakfast Association, will get a visa for you. There are also visa services that will help you get the "invitation" necessary for a visa if you are not traveling with a tour.

In the USA, The Russian Embassy in Washington and the Consulates in New York, San Francisco and Seattle have accelerated processing: five business day service is $20, four days $40, and same day (if you submit your application by 11:30 a.m.) is $120. A multiple entry visa for business purposes can be obtained under special circumstances and costs $120. This is a rather lengthy process. Note that as of July 1, 1996 a test for HIV antibodies is a requirement for visas for persons staying in The Russian Federation for three months or longer. This includes most multi-entry visas.
