Between May-October many companies in St. Petersburg offer boat excursions on rivers and canals, hydrofoil trips on the Gulf of Finland to Peterhof and Kronshtadt, as well as river cruises to Valaam, Kizhi, Petrozavodsk and Konevets Island. Below we list major terminals and piers, which are departure points for these trips.

River Terminal (Obvodnogo kan. nab., 195)
Cruise ships "Kronshtadt", "Popov", "Rodina" and "Sankt-Peterburg" depart every few days to Kizhi, Petrozavodsk and Valaam Island. Duration of the cruise is from 1 to 5 days. Rates include 3 meals a day and walking excursions at the sites. To make reservations, call the firms listed below.

Pier "Anichkov Bridge", at the corner of Nevskiy Prospekt and Fontanka River
Small riverboats "Kronverka", "Razliv", "Roshchinka" and "Smolenka" leave daily to excursions on rivers and canals from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every half hour. Duration of the trip is about an hour.

Pier "Ploshchad Dekabristov", near the Bronze Horseman
Large riverboats "Neva" and "Moskva" leave to 1-hour trips on the Neva. Comfortable riverboats "Delfin" and "Chayka" with restaurants and banquet halls on board leave to Peterhof (duration of the trip is 1,5 hours). Reservations should be made in advance.

Pier on Griboedov Canal, near metro station "Nevskiy Prospekt"
Water taxis leave daily, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. to excursions on Griboedov Canal, Moyka River and Kryukov Canal. Duration of the trip is 1 hour. Tel. 311-99-38

Pier on Moyka River, 59, at the corner of Nevskiy Prospect and Moyka River
Riverboats "Okhtinka" and "Lakhta" leave daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. to tours on rivers and canals. During "White Nights" overnight tours are also available. Tel. 325-29-54.

Pier on Mytninskaya nab., next to Kronverkskiy Bridge and Peter & Paul Fortress
Double-deck riverboat "Moskva-10" and riverboat "Lastochka" with 19C interior depart to trips on the Neva. Advance reservations are required. (Tel. 325-29-54).

Pier "Near Tuchkov Bridge",
Hydrofoils leave from here to Kronshtadt (Daily 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., every hour). Tel. 311-40-22

Pier "Hermitage", on Dvortsovaya nab., opposite the Hermitage, Tel. 311-95-06

From the Upper Deck hydrofoils speed to Peterhof in 20 minutes (from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., every 20 minutes).
From the Lower Deck double-deck riverboats "Neva" and "Moskva" depart to 1-hour trips on the Neva river (Daily 11-21).
