Where to find good draught beer in St. Peterburg. The chances are now that you can find your favorite imported draft beer in St. Petersburg. In The Traveller's Yellow Pages, we have tried to list the all draft beers pulled from a keg (za live) at each one of the bars, cafes and restaurants. The names of the beer on draught (on tap, is the American expression) is given in this distinct font after the name of the bar, restaurant or cafe. Imported beer. No problem here. Dozens of imported beers from Bud and Beck's to Tuborg and Stella Artois are sold in kiosks and shops. Many kiosks and stores even have the beer stored cold in the refrigerator. There are dozens of beers you have never heard of and some, such as the Czech beers, are quite decent.
Russian Beer. Most Russian beers (pivo) are not pasteurized and should be enjoyed fresh and cold. It's inexpensive and declared "excellent" by some connoisseurs, but an "acquired taste" by others. According to our staff the best Russian beers in St. Petersburg are: Baltika Originalnoe (pasteurized), Tverskoe, Nevskoe, Martov-skoe, Petrovskoe, Admiralteyskoe, Novgo-rodskoe and Rizhskoe. Western brewing techniques are being introduced (Baltika).

Russian Beer Restaurants often serve draught Russian beer. Draft beer is called "v razliv."
