In case of an automobile accident, call the traffic police, called "GAI" (State Automobile Inspectorate) at 02. Don't touch, move or even mark the car's position with chalk, even though it may take several hours for the GAI to come and write a report. Be prepared to present all your papers to the GAI. Beware that for minor fender-benders in private vehicles, Russians like to reach an agreement and drive on.
