There are more than 100 establishments in St. Petersburg calling themselves "CAFES". Here we include the following types of small cafes and eateries:

These cafes are usually smaller than restaurants and serve a lighter menu, snacks, and a variety of drinks (but not always coffee). Some only offer "stand-up" tables. We are not quite sure what these cafes mean when they tell our researchers that they serve "European Cuisine".
