Multiple entry visas. Businesses may be interested in a commercial multi-entry visa which allows unlimited entries for 6 months, 1 and 2 year periods. All applications must be submitted to MID (Ministerstvo Inostrannykh Del) Ministry of Foreign Affairs. To be eligible, your company must be registered with MID and you must show a need for frequent travel in and out of Russia. For those who are outside of Russia and wish to obtain a multiple entry visa, the process must still begin with MID in Russia. Upon approval, MID will then telex this information to the consulate closest to you. You may then go in person or send for this visa by mail. You will still have to fill out the standard questionnaire form and provide three photos to the consulate. The cost is $120 paid to the consulate plus an additional fee paid to MID in Russia. The process takes about two weeks.

Business visas at airport. Foreign businessmen can get 1 month visa in Consular Office in Pulkovo. You need to have your passport, 3 photos 3x4 cm and invitation from a firm in Russia. The invitation, stating the purpose of your visit, should be written on official firm's blank with the signature and should be stamped. A fax copy of the invitation is acceptable. The consular's fee is $150.
