Real estate contracts

Real estate contracts, particularly apartment exchange and sales, are the most frequently signed private contracts in St. Pbg.

To sign this kind of contract, it is necessary to submit the following documents to the notary

1. A document which states that your apartment belongs to you

2. A certificate from the residential committee in Mayor's office stating that you are the owner of your apartment as of the day the contract is signed

3. A certificate from "architectural design office" stating the price of your apartment and its architectural characteristics

The two parties should be very careful when signing a contract. The two parties sign the contract in the presence of a notary (an exception is when representatives of either or both parties sign the contract; representatives should have a notarized permission to do so). After signing a contract, it is necessary to register a new apartment in the "Residential Committee" at Mayor's office.
