OPTIMAL VIEWING OF THESE PAGES
This site has been designed to provide fast, efficient access to The Traveller's Yellow Pages On-Line directories. The site and directory listings are best viewed in Netscape Navigator 2.01 or later. See Netscape below for more information on using different fonts.
Configuring other browsers
We have tested these pages with the following browsers: Compuserve (Spry Mosaic), MS Internet Explorer and Netcom NetCruiser. With some adjustments all give acceptable, if not beautiful, results. We have provided some tips on getting the most out of our site with your browser. If after adjusting your browser our site still does not display cleanly on your browser please let us know what browser and version you are using so we can add it to our testing browsers.
There are two simple steps that will ensure the best viewing and printing of the listings.
Viewing
- Expand your browser window to the full screen size (based on a 15" monitor). You can see more listings when you have a taller screen. To maximize viewing area most browsers allow you to remove the tool bars, status areas, etc..
- Adjust the font and the font size that your browser is using for viewing to get the full listing without wrapping. Adjusting the font for viewing will also adjust the font that your printer uses to print the pages.
Printing
Yes, you are encouraged to print out the listings for your own use, but not for resale in any form. If you need more than a few categories, it might be easier to purchase the book, either at one of the many stores carrying The Traveller's Yellow Pages or directly from InfoServices International.
- Check and adjust the font that your browser is using if you have not already done so.
- Check and, if neccessary, adjust the margins of the printed page.
Adjusting Fonts and Printer Margins
The following settings allow you to view the listings easily and to print out without losing any information. You can experiment to try and get more infomation on a page, remember that many listings have two telephone numbers on one line, make sure you have both. The suggested settings are based on two particular fixed-width fonts, Courier New and ROL-K8/courier (which allows you to view Cyrillic as well as Latin) on a PC running Windows '95. Your settings may vary depending on the browser and font that you are using. (Information on Cyrillic fonts.)
