Phone Directories On the Web
Pages.Ru ** -On the main page you select a city from the list (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tumen and N.Novgorod), then you can search white pages for these cities or browse yellow pages. Listings are not as full as ours (address and phone only). Yet site has a very nice design and very useful information and search mechanism.

Gateway Travel ** -Good commercial site, nice graphics, member of Russian link exchange
Moscow Guide ** -This site presents information on restaurants, hotels and some entertainment information. The information is presented in a way very similar to how our listings are organized: in addition to address and phone, you can find hours of operation, credit cards, transportation etc. Very extensive use of graphics. Information is very selective.
Fresh Guide *** -Very good source of information for people travelling to Russia, many essays on subjects ranging from history to food and drink.
The Baltics Worldwide ** -Baltics Worldwide (City Paper) — The Baltics Worldwide is the online presence of City Paper-The Baltics States, a highly acclaimed, Baltic-based publication. The site has frank and lively tourist information on Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, plus professionally-written stories and feature articles on the Baltics.
Tallin ** -Information is very well organized. Nice design. In English and Estonian. Table of contents is available in Russian, but most pages are in Estonian only.
All about St.Petersburg for tourists ** -Launched in 1995, this server is the largest storage bank of official travel information for the North-West of Russia. It carries information provided by the Administration of St. Petersburg (its Tourism Committee), the Leningrad Region Administration, the Academy of Tourism, and major regional travel periodicals. We found very useful information on hotel rates and railroad schedules. On-line booking.
