Concerts are held in the following halls. We have THEATER SEATING PLANS for the Bolshoy Theater, Moscow Operetta Theater, Malyy Theater, Chaykovskiy Bolshoy Concert Hall, Mayakovskiy Theater, Moscow Satire Theater, Moscow Dramatic Theater & Malyy Theater.
The concert season starts in early October and finishes in May. During the summer the better ensembles go on tour.
For advanced ticket sales in rubles, go to any of the THEATER TICKET BUREAUS, which sell tickets for all concerts, theaters, circus and other public events. You can also go to the Box office of the concert hall.

- Borodin A. P. (1833-87) Works include opera "Prince Igor", symphonies, chamber music and much piano music and songs.
- Glinka M. I. (1804-57) is usually called "the founder of Russian opera". Works include: two operas "Ivan Susanin" and "Ruslan and Lyudmila", church music, secular choral works, many orchestral works.
- Gnesin M. F. (1883-1957), composer, teacher and musicologist. Gnesin's compositions were especially influenced by jewish music.
- Musorgskiy M. P. (1839-81), Works inc;ude operas "Boris Godunov", "Khovanshchina", several choral works, orchestral works (Pictures at an Exhibition), piano works.

- Rimsky-Korsakov N. A. (1844-1908), composer, conductor, teacher. Works include fourteen operas "The Snow Maiden", "Sadko", numerous choral works, many orchestral pieces, vocal works, piano works.
- Shostakovich D. D. (1906- ), prolific composer, brilliant pianist and teacher. Works include operas "Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk", ballets, choral works, eleven symphonies, a violin concerto, two piano concerts, six string quartets, etc.
