Temple of Righteous John the Russian
Dear brethren and sisters,
Under the blessing of Holy Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Aleksiy II, a temple of Righteous
St. John the Russian is to be erected in the Moscow district of Kuntsevo. Another candle of the holy life in Christ has been lit up in our capital by the Primate of the Orthodox Church. For the first time in Russia there will be built a temple in honour of a glorious Russian saint who was born in the area of southern Russia, beamed piety in Turkey, now abiding in his imperishable relics in the Greek land and who is especially esteemed in St. Afon.
We shall examine with gratitude any proposals on co-operation which
can help to erect the new St. John the Russian temple.
